There has been a noticeable increase in the rate of arrival of new listings over the past 3 months. We always try to measure in multiples of 7 days in order to allow for the 7 day new listing cycle. Over the past 28 days we have seen 8,750 new listings added, an increase of 4.5% over the same period last year. The difference for last 7 days was 6.5% higher than last year. We still have a long way to go before supply could be considered normal, but the trend is now in that direction.
From June 6, 2014 through June 1, 2015 the annual change was negative, but from June 2nd onwards most of the weekly comparisons show more listings than last year.
